Olive Groves and Oil Mill
The extra virgin olive oil produced at our mill comes from the most traditional of the crops grown in our mountain range.
The olives used to produce our oils come from the Sierra de Cádiz, a unique region of mountain olive groves that boasts one of the highest concentrations of century-old olive trees.
The olive tree is the seed from which this company grew and is still considered the foundation of the local economy. Many of our farmers still use the same harvesting methods they have for decades.
Produced using cold-press extraction, the entire process is carried out under specific temperature conditions to ensure that its aroma and flavor remain unaltered.
Our oils bear the Gusto del Sur brand seal. With this seal, consumers are assured they are purchasing Andalusian products with specific characteristics endorsed by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Sustainable Development of the Regional Government of Andalusia.

Olive oil milling and bottling
These olives are then sorted at the Los Remedios-Picasat Cooperative’s facilities based on their ripeness and condition.
The Cooperative also has its own bottling plant, so the entire olive processing journey, from harvest to market, takes place on a single site.
The use of state-of-the-art technology prevents us from causing damage to the pristine natural environment that surrounds us.
